FYS
I hemmed and hawed for a while about whether I wanted to participate in the FYS extravaganza, but decided it'd probably be good to see what I have. All pictures can be clicked to go to the flickr page with notes detailing what each item is.
First, the sweater yarn stash.
This was the most surprising picture for me. I didn't realize I had enough yarn for this many sweaters. Finishing sweaters has been moved up on the list.
Next, lace weight stash.
I actually thought I had more lace weight yarn than this, so that's probably a good thing. Not pictured are my two lace projects in progress, Peacock Feathers and the MSS.
Sock Stash!
That's enough yarn for 15 pairs of socks - at least a years worth. It also doesn't include the two current socks in progress.
Finally larger left overs and assorted bits of yarn.
I didn't include the stuff that's just scraps, only yarn in useful amounts. I probably have about a plastic grocery bag full worth of half balls and left over bits.
All of this has shown me I really need to pare down. I know I don't have a huge stash compared to some of the more heavy hitters out there, but I really feel wasteful to have all of this sitting around my house not being used. By this time next year I hope my stash is significantly smaller and there aren't a lot of the same things left hanging around.
