Study Break

MSS - knitting complete

Finished knitting the Mountain Stream Scarf on a study break this afternoon. The top border was definitely the most fun part of the scarf. Finals go through Wed morning, then I plan on stopping by Knitting in La Jolla that afternoon for some post finals shopping and maybe a bit of knitting in the Cove. The MSS will get blocked that evening, as I need to pick up more t-pins and have a good amount of time to do that.

The bread is in the picture because A. bought it and I thought it was funny. All food should be this entertaining.

I've missed the last two Saturdays at Rebecca's, the first because I was sick and the second to study, so I'm looking forward to seeing people next weekend.

Oo, can't wait to see it in all it's glory. Love that dark maroon, too. Where in SD do you live? I grew up there (in Del Mar/Carmel Valley), and get home on occassion. I long for the southern california atmosphere!

We've missed you the last couple of weeks. Good luck with your exams!

the scarf is beautiful! I'm planning on making it to Rebecca's next weekend, too... I'd love to meet you!

Too bad there isn't a 1 before the 9 on the bread...and maybe Sam Jackson's face on it with a cartoon bubble coming out, "'What' ain't no country I ever heard of!" That would definitely make my breakfast happy fun-time.

Congrats on your mountain steam scarf. We've missed you too!
