Jessimuhka Knits

I finally took pictures of my new hair cut (although another week or two and I'll be ready for a trim). The pictures are on the balcony of my new apartment (woo!) which gets plenty of afternoon sun for picture taking.

As you can see, I'm incapable of taking a normal picture of myself. When I smile my eyes go squishy, and when I don't I look pissed. The tongue out is really the best option. There's even more evidence of that here.

I also started a new project, the embroidered knee socks from the new Vogue Knitting. I finished the toe while watching Project Runway last night (I am in love with Michael!) and got about halfway through the foot while relaxing this morning. Pictures ahead!

We moved in on Saturday, then I had finals Monday and Wednesday, and now I'm free! Today's task is bed shopping. I've been sleeping on the floor since the move (on a foam pad thingy, not too horrible) and I'm ready to be back in a bed. This weekend will be all about unpacking and unwinding. Saturday I'm heading to the Blarney Stone for some drinking and singing with Krys and some other friends from UCSD and CWSL. Should be good times.
