Baby Sweater!

Ok, so I finished this ages ago, but was a slacker about sewing the buttons on.

Practically Seamless Sweater (by Jessimuhka)

Pattern is from Elizabeth Zimmermann's Knitting Almanac, the February baby sweater.
Yarn is Rowan Summer Tweed, 2.5 skeins.
Buttons from Beverly's Fabric.

Overall this was a pretty quick and easy knit. The pattern is "pithy" so I had a bit of trouble interpreting how long the sleeves should be, but it knit up in a weekend. I didn't love working with the yarn. It's kind of dry feeling in the hands, and stiff, because it's a blend of two fibers with no give. It turned out nice though. I have a skein and a half left that I have no idea what to do with.

If you are a San Diego knitter having a baby, this sweater is probably for you ;)

That is a great San Diego knitter's-baby's sweater!

I love it... it looks so delicate. I'd love to see it on the baby!

Whee! Too adorable!
