Can you stand any more photos of this project?
Last set until there's a pair, I promise.
Getting a little help and warmth with my Con Law assignment. Yeah, I know the color coding of highlighting is pretty dorky. I have a system.
Blocking. I threaded wires up the sides along the purl columns and pinned them equal distance apart. Blocking really made a difference in the lumpiness of the colorwork. It looks much better now.
Out in the sun, no flash.
On in the sun, without flash. This one is probably the most color accurate, in the foreground.
I cast on for the second one last night and got 1/3 through the wrist. This weekend is supposed to be mostly for studying, but I do have a few breaks built in, so there might be a finished pair by Monday.

Very nice! I'm sure they'll keep your hands nice and warm through studying and finals!
I've been thinking about making a pair of mitts like these (though not necessarily *these*) and I'm not sure about it since it seems like I'm always either washing dishes, changing diapers, or knitting - three things that I don't think I could wear the mitts for! Have you tried knitting with your mitt on yet? I wonder if it'd work.

Personally I love in progress photos. I can't wait to see the finished pair. Please keep sharing, it's very inspiring. Maybe one day I'll be as great a knitter as you obviously are.

I'm SO wanting to make these - but I have chub hands and wrists. How much give do these babies have?

Loookin' good! I like the action study shot. :)
Even though it's not a white glove, the notion of the one handcovering puts Michael Jackson in my head. Now I feel soiled. ;P

Highlighting saved my ass in law school. Highlight away! The mitts look fabulous.

I'm in law school too and I would swear by the color coded highlighting system. Way better than briefing every case on paper.
The mitts look great too!
