Tubey and Tubey
I have a bag of Rowan Cork I got on ebay after it was discontinued for only $20. This month I've felt the need for a quick and dirty project, so I cast on for Tubey, modified for the larger gauge. I'm a little sketchy on whether I'll have enough yarn for full sleeves, so I put the sleeve stitches on a holder once I'd finished the back.
Here's the shrug part with my Slap Bet Commissioner shirt from TwoP. Their mascot is Tubey, so I figured they'd go well together.
Since these pictures I've picked up the stitches for the body (twice, because I did the math backwards the first time) and knit to the point where I'll be adding some shortrow bust shaping. Once I finish the bust shaping, I think I'll put it back on scrap yarn and try on again. I'm also thinking of doing an edging with some navy blue Cork I have, because that might look a little better right next to my face. I need to see if I have enough to also do a bit around the wrists to tie the whole thing together.
Tomorrow I'll be heading to the Knit Salon to catch up with the Stitches folks.

Yay, TWOP! I actually caved and bought the TWOP book with my last bonus (it's ridiculously expensive for what it is). I was going to release it, but let me know if you want it and I'll bring it down this weekend.
