Back from the Dead
Hey guys! Anyone still reading out there?
So a lot has happened since last I posted here. Main points: decided to take a break from school, got a job (working with Dis), made it through my first major overtime crunch at that job, still have things going on with the Some Guy (SG) I obliquely referenced back in March, and moved into an apartment by myself.
Knitting, there hasn't been much knitting until last night. I caught a killer cold over the weekend, and wound up needing to go home from work early yesterday. Between my 6 hour nap, and 8 hours of nighttime sleep, I cast on and knit the picot hem of Rebekkah's Scroll Lace Socks. (Ravelry users, que them up here. I'm on Ravelry as Jessimuhka, by the way.) I'm knitting them in a deep purple mostly solid Koigu, and so far they are awesome. Once I get a few repeats into the leg, there will be pictures. Hopefully our knitting nights will start up again soon, now that the summer is winding down, and my progress and posting will improve.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You made my day by posting! :D P.S. Your cold is surviving quite nicely in its new host (aka me).

Yay, you're back! Congrats on the job, apartment, and continuing relationship - all positive things! I hope you're over that cold soon. Summer colds are the pits.

Huzzah! Checking your journal every once in a while has paid off! It's good to know that you're still alive! And I do hope you're feeling better soon. Colds suck at the best of times, but summer colds always feel the hardest to get through.
